Marina Baysand Staycation

Have heard a lot about Marina Baysand ever since it opened. It shapes like a ship and has swimming pools with the best view that you could see the urban side of Singapore. The commerical buildings are just nearby especially its night views are so spectulars.

Before we stepped into the hotel lobby, we were already welcomed by a greeter who helped us with our luggage bags and the front desk staff was always serving us with a smile. Conveniently, there are shops along the 3 towers of the hotel and no worries of the weather, be it rains or shines as the hotel towers are shelter link together and it could also bring you to the shopping mall opposite it. Furthermore, there is a train station in the shopping mall itself which make it easily accessible to another location. Below are some photos to share in one of the room that we stayed. It is quite spacious and clean.

What I like about for this hotel is its security. You would need to have your room card in order to access the lift to your room level and to the swimming pool level. However, they restrict the number of people entered into the pool. With the room access card, it only allows one adult to the pool each time. During the time of our visits, there are a big crowd of people regardless of which timing you go there for a swim. Imagine if there is no restriction on the access of the swimming pool, I would not imagine you could hardly able to swim there. Another plus point that attract me is the view at the highest floor. You could see the greenery of the Garden by the Bay just next to the building. It relaxs your mind and seemed like all the worries are flown away by the wind.

Overall, I like the staycation there with its views at the highest floor, its securities, their services and its location. However, I feel it was quite crowded during our stayed and I prefer a more 'home' feel.
